Kodi Playback Resumer

Periodically sets the resume point of videos and can automatically resume last played video if Kodi crashes.

Description

Runs as a service and will periodically update the resume point while videos are playing, so you can re-start from where you were in the event of a crash. It can also automatically resume a video if Kodi was shutdown while playing it. See setting to configure how often the resume point is set, and whether to automatically resume.

v2.0.10 - Fixed the startup resume seek silently failing (video would auto-play from 0:00 despite the "Resuming at X:XX" notification): the addon now waits for playback to actually be ready before seeking, then verifies the seek landed and retries if not - Fixed a rare crash on startup during a resume, which in turn caused the *next* startup's resume to silently fail too (no video was playing at Kodi's last shutdown)

1. Download the addon.
2. Open up Kodi and navigate into Add-ons.
   
3. Click the open box icon (above the side-menu).
   
4. Select Install from zip file.
   • If this is the first addon you install, Kodi will warn you about installing addons from "unknown sources" for security reasons - it's your call.
   • In any case, Kodi will warn you, you may not get auto-updates for this addon.
5. Navigate into the location where you've downloaded the addon to and select it to Install.

2. Open up Kodi and navigate into Add-ons.
   
3. Click the open box icon (above the side-menu).
   
4. Select Install from repository.
   • If you have at least one repository (besides the default) installed:
     Select the repository you wish to install from.
5. Select the category the addon belongs to, in this case it should be script.
6. Select Kodi Playback Resumer.
7. Click Install.
